Village Makes up for Few On-Mountain Dining Options

Canadian ski resorts are not famous for their mountain huts and restaurants. Notwithstanding, Big White Village boasts plenty of culinary options that rival even the finest restaurants. That is due to the fact that Big White also has plenty of accommodation facilites in stock, so you are literally spoiled with choices here, as there is no shortage of places to relax and refuel your energy level.

The Woods, which is part of the Wine & Dine Tour, is popular for its cheese fondue for two. The Tour includes three different venues for three courses with wine tasting, which is great to get to know Big White. The Bullwheel and Globe Cafe & Tapas Bar are also part of this tour. While the latter serves sweet and tiny desserts and delivious brews, the former offers Canadian specialties.

The Kettle Valley Steakhouse & Wine Bar mainly serves fine Okanagan cuisine. Located right next to the Adventure Park, you will probably get the best Angus beef and seafood in town here. Just keep in mind that its better to make a reservation since it fills up quickly at dinner time.

Black Forest Day Lodge is a self-service restaurant, which is very popular with families. Located close to the free parking lot, the futuristic building is well-frequented before lift closing at the end of a day on the slopes.
