Nice bunny slope for kids!
Breuil-Cervinia is also a great choice for families. If it's your child's first time on skis, Breuil-Cervinia is the right place to be, where you'll find a well- designed kids park as well as a magic carpet lift. When they're ready to ski their first trail, the short H chairlift is your best choice. Once they're a little more steady on their skis, they can practice in the area above Plain Maison (8383ft/2555m). A further beginners' lift, L, can be found there, as well as numerous easy runs. You can also upgrade easily to the red trails from the area. A second bunny slope is located on Salette (7365ft/2245m), but those still a bit wobbly on their skis should stick to the gondola for their descent back to the base, since a few parts of the red trail no.1 might turn out to be a bit too challenging for them. Due to the size of the ski area, parents should be sure to keep an eye on their children at all times. If you decide you'd like to explore the first-class range of slopes without the kids or get a look at the Matterhorn from the Swiss side, your children will be in the best of hands at one of the ski schools at Breuil-Cervinia or Valtournenche.
