More advanced skiers will be happy to find that Gerlitzen has over 30 kilometers of red and black trails to offer, including two ungroomed slopes. We highly recommend checking out the long Talabfahrt run, which leads all the way back down into Klosterle (1000m) from the upper terminal of the Kanzelbahn lift (1911m). There are approximately 7.5 kilometers to be conquered on Klosterleabfahrt II (no.8) and Klosterleabfahrt I (no.9) without having to board another lift. The area around Bergeralm is a bit quieter, but you’ll also find some nice runs there, including the Birkenhof run (no.11), which will take you down to the Seppl-Hutte. If you’re looking to get some nice wide carving in, you might try the very broad and inviting Panorama run (no.1). Gerlitzen’s mostly modern lifts also brought in some points. Only in terms of overall size does Gerlitzen have to concede a little in this category. With a total of 45 kilometers of slopes, demanding skiers might wish for a little more variety after a few days.
