    Modern lifts and good infrastructure

Hochzillertal-Hochfügen can score especially with its modern lift facilities. Most of the chairlifts are equipped with weather protection hoods and some even have heated seats. There are also a few T-bar lifts, but these are mainly located on short practice slopes or at the snow park. Free Wi-Fi access is available in most mountain restaurants. Signs and posted trail maps help with orientation in the rather extensive ski area, but at one point or another it is practical to have your own trail map in your pocket.

Those who want to ski the valley run to Aschau should note that there is no lift here to get directly back to the ski area. However, you have the option of taking the ski bus from the end of the ski route back to Kaltenbach. The ski bus can be used for free with a lift ticket.

Since most guests enter the ski area in Kaltenbach, there can be waiting times here in the morning (despite two gondola lifts). However, in order to defuse the big rush, the lifts are already open from 7.30 am. Ski depots and rentals are available both at the Hochzillertal valley station and in Hochfügen.

There is plenty of parking available at the valley stations. There are two large parking lots at the Hochzillertal gondola and also in Hochfügen you can park at the base stations of the Lamark lifts, the Holzalm lift and the 8er jet. Parking is free of charge.

By the way, you can also get to the ski area easily without a car. Between Jenbach and Mayrhofen, the Zillertalbahn runs regularly to Kaltenbach-Stumm. From the train station it is only a few minutes walk to the valley station. The Zillertalbahn can also be used free of charge with a valid ZillertalSuperskipass.
