The altitude of the ski area makes the area between Kreuzboden (2,400m) and Hohsaas (3,200m) in particular extremely snow-sure. The Trift glacier is also located here.
The ski season usually lasts from early/mid-December to mid-April. Since the ski area is located on the southern slope, the valley run may be closed at the beginning and end of the season or only open as far as the Trift intermediate station.
Around 65 percent of the slopes can also be covered with artificial snow.
