Single-Day Rate Starting at 70 EUR
Generally speaking, the lift ticket rates are way more expensive in Canada and in the US than they are in the European Alps. For instance, a adult single-day lift ticket costs 109 CAD (tax excluded), which is about 71 EUR. This is quite pricey, yet it is still reasonable compared to other Canadian ski resorts. As usual, the rates become cheaper when taking advantage of one of the numerous discounts by spending several days in the ski area. There are also plenty of discounts available which are combined with overnight stays. In the 2017-18 winter season a skiing/accommodation package costs 999 CAD (660 EUR) and comprises a five-day ski pass, five nights at the ski resort's only ski in/ski out hotel and four 2 hour skiing lessons.
Sunshine Super Card – Complicated But Cheap
In cooperation with Marmot Basin Jasper, Winsport, Snow Valley and Rabbit Hill, the Sunshine Super Card is a new addition to the ski resort. Owners of this card, which must be purchased for 129 CAD, ski free of charge on the first, fourth and seventh visit to one of the participating ski resorts. There will also be savings on lift tickets all season long, as you get a 25 CAD discount on weekdays and 15 CAD discount on weekends on the regular lift-ticket rate. If you plan on staying a little longer in this area and are into exploring the ski resorts mentioned above, this offer is a great option in order to save money.
Ski Big 3
Together with Lake Louise and Mt Norquay, Sunshine Village is part of the Ski Big 3 ski area, which offers discounted lift tickets. When purchasing a multi-day tikcet for three or more days of skiing, when reserving 21 days in advance and when making sure to not purchase these tickets during the regular or holiday season, you can easily save up to several hundred CAD. The SkiBig3 lift ticket guarantees great fun on the slopes and unlimited skiing at Banff Sunshine's, Lake Louise's and Mt Norquay's different terrain.
Anyways, the lift ticket rates are way more expensive than the ones in Europe, especially when keeping in mind that most of the lifts and huts are quite outdated or simply few in number. However, a visitor will rarely pay for the regular ski pass, since package deals with overnight stays are much cheaper.
