Not in the mood for the hustle and bustle of the ski resorts? Then strap one of the new touring models under your feet and set off on your own. The skis of the touring category Men 1 are ideal for pleasure tourers and amateur athletes who value easy ascents, but are still looking for enough downhill performance to be able to wedel down the slope without any problems afterwards.
Versatile and extremely light
Whether you just want to spend a few hours in the great outdoors or really push yourself - the versatile touring skis in the Men 1 category are suitable for a wide range of uses. Their light weight makes them reliable models for long tours with lots of vertical meters.
The center widths of this touring category are between 80 and 88 millimeters. This means they are also well suited for use on the slopes. So if you only want to go ski touring from time to time, you can simply use these models as a second ski for the piste besides a highly sporty model and at the same time be perfectly equipped for touring. They were tested this year on the Mölltal Glacier.
Target group: Tourers for whom an easy ascent is important
Those looking for touring skis for off-piste will find the right models in the category Touring Men 2 (88-95mm).
Test winner: Fischer Transalp 86 Carbon
The Fischer Transalp 86 Carbon takes gold and silver in one fell swoop. Not only did it win the ski test, it also impressed the testers with its design and took the silver medal in SnowStyle. The Fischer delivers top performance both on the ascent and the descent and comes in first place with a very good 45.8 points.

2nd place: Völkl Rise Up 82
Only just behind the winner is the Völkl Rise Up 82 with 45.5 points and the test grade "very good". The fact that it didn't make it all the way to the top is only due to the somewhat low scores in the handling of the skins. On the other hand, it achieves great scores for overall impression, physical effort and smoothness. Especially in long turns, the Völkl can show what it's made of.

When it comes to handling the skins, the Hagan Ultra 87 stands out in particular. With the best result for this feature and an overall score of 45.2 points, the balanced touring ski lands in 3rd place. Demanding ascents and casual descents are no problem for the Hagan.
