The ski resort framing the little village of Bergdorf Berwang at 1342 meters above sea level can offer more practiced skiers about 15 kilometers of red trails as well as a 1.6 kilometer-long black trail, which shouldn’t present too much of a challenge for intermediates. The black trail and the bulk of the reds all come off of the 1740m-high Oberer Rastkopf. One nice red (which turns into a blue at the bottom) can be found off the Thanellerkar lift. But should the 15 kilometers of red trails fail to suffice, thanks to the cooperation between the members of the “Tiroler Zugspitzarena”, your lift ticket will get you into all five of the other ski areas belonging to the arena.
