Hinterstoder is definitely recommended for families. This already starts at the lift ticket office. Small children only need a KidsCard mini, which costs 4 euros (as of 2022/23), if they are accompanied by a paying parent in Hinterstoder. Reduced prices for young people and students save the household budget even when the children are already older.
The youngest can playfully learn to ski in the Sunny Kids Park. The Kinderland is located at the Hutterer Böden and can therefore be easily reached with the Hössbahn. The Sunny Kids Park is designed to be child-friendly with a ski carousel, parcours and conveyor belts. On site, the Stodertal winter sports school offers its services.
If families would like to explore the rest of the area, the ski resort with its hub Hutterer Böden presents itself in a manageable way so that it is unlikely to get lost. With the SNOWtrail, which leads over waves, high jumps and steep curves, the speed measurement track at the Sonnkogel lift and the fun park, even the older kids have fun. But not only the ski area, also the region is family-friendly.
