For the size of the ski area, Hinterstoder offers a good selection of huts. The Berggasthof Höss near the top station of the Höss-Express offers probably the most beautiful view. From here, guests can look out over the Tote Gebirge mountains and the Kalkalpen National Park.
The most popular places to stop, however, are the Hutterer Böden. Here, for example, the Höss-Salettl or the Bärenhütte invites you to stop for a bite to eat. Despite being self-service, the Bärenhütte does not have a canteen atmosphere, as it is built like a Canadian log cabin. If you like it rustic, the Logerhütt'n is the right place. This is also known for its après ski parties. Thanks to the terraces, skiers can also watch the hustle and bustle on the slopes.
