Review Hinterstoder: Average Snow Conditions

The skiing area lies between 600 and 2,000 meters and is thus one of the highest in Upper Austria. 90 percent of the slopes can be covered with snow by more than 290 snow guns. This ensures snow even at lower altitudes. Since the slopes are located in a basin facing north, they remain in good condition until the afternoon. For this reason, even in spring at the end of the season, the snow conditions in Hinterstoder are still good.
