Only 10% of the trails at Jackson Hole are beginner-friendly!

Jackson Hole is renowned for the freeriding in Rendezvous Bowl and the jumps over meter-high boulders in Corbet's Couloir. For beginners there are four or five easy slopes off the Teewinot and Eagle's Rest chairlifts. If it's your very first time, you'll want to head up to the area above the Bridger gondola, where you'll find a little kids park with a moving carpet. Advanced beginners can give the blue trails off the Apres Vous lift a try (intermediate trails are marked blue in the USA, and not red, like they are in Europe). For a single day, beginners will find enough to do at Jackson Hole, but if you want to expand your options, we recommend taking a lesson at the resort, where they offer half-day as well as full-day lessons. The ski school is located in Bridger Center at the base. Sign up at mountainsports@jacksonhole.com.
