The wide slopes in the ski area are perfectly groomed and are in very good condition thanks to the high snow guarantee from November to April. This is also ensured by the snowmaking system, which can cover more than 90 percent of the slopes with snow.
It is possible to rent ski equipment both in the village centers and directly at the base stations. Ski depots with ski boot drying are also available.
In the ski area there are numerous Wi-Fi hotspots, which can be used free of charge. These are located at most huts (e.g. Top Mountain Star, Wurmkogelhütte, Nederhütte and Festkogel Alm) as well as at some lift stations (e.g. Wiesenlift base station, Hohe Mut middle station).
Apart from the parking lot in the village center of Obergurgl, all parking lots (also at the base stations) are free of charge. In addition, there are good ski bus connections between the village areas as well as to the rest of the Ötztal (e.g. Sölden, Vent, Längenfeld, Kühtai), which can be used free of charge with a guest card or ski clothing.
