From a total of 32 kilometers (19.8 mi) of slope, 15 km (9.3 mi) are marked as blue areas and 12 km (7.4 mi) are marked as red terrain. Advanced skiers are offered an unrestricted selection. Technically they can ski the entire resort without difficulty. If you're looking to take on a bigger challenge, check out the 5 kilometers (3.1 mi) long, black marked run down to the valley. It'll lead you alongside the Hochalm gondola, which conveniently prevents you from getting lost. For those of you wanting to prove their outstanding velocity on one or two boards, Rauris has a racing track with automatic time measurement to find out how fast you're really going. If you start out your ski day at the base station of the gondola Hochalm, you can reach all slopes in that area comfortably using other new and up-to-date gondolas. Sadly you can't access the red marked slopes this way. The resort however has installed a chairlift and a t-bar lift (length of 500 meters/546,8 yd) to cater to all the guests' needs.
