Review Rauris: Service

Getting lost isn't something that would happen to you at Rauris, seeing as the slopes are all very well signposted. Those pistes located above the Hochalm gondola are accessible via other modern gondolas and lift facilities. The only thing that might be an inconvenience is reaching the red marked terrain in the Kreuzboden area, which requires two different lifts: a t-bar and chair lift. In addition, piste preparations could have been better during our visit. Even though the snow was good during our test-run, we would have appreciated better grooming. Sport equipment stores and rental services are not available down in the valley. Visitors who require those services need to look for stores in the city of Rauris. A plus when visiting Rauris are the conveniently located parking spaces near the base station! On top of the location they're also completely free of charge. Moreover, the lines at the cash registers and lifts are usually short and move forward fast and efficiently.
