Review Rauris: On Mountain Dining

No one needs to starve in Rauris because the amount of mountain huts throughout the resort is definitely sufficient. Just above the Hochalm gondola there are two mountain restaurants where you can eat with a little bit of a view. Down at the base station there is a small “Würstelhütte” (mostly sausages) for a quick meal in-between. Three more mountain restaurants are located in the area Kreuzboden. The possible places to stop for refreshments and hearty dishes are nicely spread out over the entire resort. Available foods include soups, Knödel (dumplings), Kaiserschmarrn (shredded pancake) as well as pasta dishes or simply fries.
