      Val d`Isère - Powder paradise!

A great advantage of the ski resort are the endless outback possibilities. Tignes even boasts a designated freeride-zone. But grommed-slope-fans definitely also get their moneys worth. The “pitch-black” Piste 3000 at the Leissieres Express and the black Fôret down to Le Fornet will challenge even the best among skiers. The Rocher de Bellevarde 2827m is home to the black “Face” trail. More than 1000m in altitude need to be overcome to ski this trail down to Val d’Isère. Between Rocher de Bellevarde and the Col de Fresse technical skiers can test their skills in a giant slalom course. (However a fee is required to ski the course). Due to the challenging trails and the sheer endless outback-possibilities Val d’Isère is awarded our highest mark in the expert skiers category.

The freeride possibilities are great: No matter in which direction you glance there is an abundance of pristine white terrain that just awaits to be conquered by powder lovers. There is even a designated free-ride area: "Le Spot".
