Gigantic terrain park and powder as far as the eye can reach!

Take the Vallon de l’Iseran Gondola (see trail map) to the Glacier slopes of the Pte du Montet (3488m), the view opens up to the spectacular snow-covered mountainside of the Ouille Noire Group and La Grande Motte in the Tignes subarea. High alpine experienced winter athletes with an eye for the current avalanche situation will find everything from soft mountain ridges to challenging steeps. Powder as far as the eye can reach and enough slopes to fit everybody’s fancy! Those who prefer groomed to powdery terrain need to check out the rather flat but super broad slopes at the Col de Fresse. Home to steep snowboard friendly trails is the 2827 m high Rocher de Bellevarde. Our testers especially enjoyed the black “Face” and the intermediate “Coupe du Monde”. If you fancy the air and style department you will truly enjoy the terrain park between Toviere (2704m) and the Rocher de Bellevard. The terrain park features jumps of all ability levels. A-tables, rainbow-rails and boxes of different varieties and sizes complete this highlight of a terrain park! Furthermore the park boasts its own chair lift to take the free-stylers up and around the fun-area. Only downer in Val d’Isère is the missing half-pipe but if you purchase the combination ski ticket you can transfer to Tignes where a half pipe completes the perfect holiday!
