Val d`Isère: Exquisite winter pradise for boarders and versed skiers!

Val d’Isère definitely lives up to its expectations! We recommend all intermediate and expert skiers to purchase the combination ski ticket for the entire “Espace Killy” (Val d’Isère and Tignes) so you can tap the whole potential of the beautiful region with its 300 km of groomed trails and 90 (for French circumstances) quite comfortable lift-facilities. Make your stay long enough to discover the abundance of terrain between Tignes and Val d’Isère, you will need at least 4 days to get to know the true promise of the two resorts. Beginners have free practice lifts at their disposal at the bases. This Savoyen ski resort passes all our test criteria with flying colours and thus can be counted among the top ten in our ranking. Only drawbacks are the not so ideal family features, the architectural eyesores at the village entrance and the very high price level in Val d’Isère.
