With a total of 225 kilometers of slopes, this ski area is vast and offers advanced skiers a wide variety of runs. Arosa, in particular, impressed the testers. Those arriving in Arosa via the Urdenbahn from Lenzerheide are immediately faced with a wealth of choices. From the Hörnli summit (2,511 meters), only highly recommended slopes branch off. For seasoned pros, the black Direttissima run and the black-marked Skiclub slope are not to be missed. The Carmennahang area, with its mix of red and black slopes, is a playground for advanced and expert skiers. The two runs from the Weisshorn summit (2,653 meters) are considered major highlights. The eastern side of Lenzerheide offers slightly fewer options in comparison. However, the Totälpli descent from the Rothorn summit (2,865 meters) and the FIS slope at Heimberg deliver pure enjoyment. For snowboarders, the path through the ski tunnel at Rothorn can be challenging. Additionally, the red-marked Urdenfürggli run stands out. A detour to the western side is also worthwhile for experienced skiers and snowboarders. Carving enthusiasts, in particular, will appreciate the wide slopes. The extensive network of blue and red runs ensures plenty of variety, while true experts can tackle “The Black” or test their skills on the Pedra Grossa racecourse.
