The Rothorn and Weisshorn are prime spots for freeriders, offering the perfect terrain to leave fresh tracks in the powder when conditions allow. The ski area features several freeride checkpoints, where riders can access up-to-date information on avalanche risk, weather, and snow conditions. For those who prefer to stay within the secured zones, the western side of the Lenzerheide area offers several variant runs. The Standard descent (No. 41) from Piz Scalottas (2,323 meters) and the Pedra Grossa descent (No. 53) near the namesake lift provide excellent powder fun. For an added adventure, skiers have the option to embark on an off-piste ski safari. This circuit takes you through Lenzerheide, Arosa, and Tschiertschen, making it a memorable journey through diverse alpine landscapes.
