Over 100 kilometers of slopes in Arosa Lenzerheide are marked blue, providing a wide range of options for less experienced skiers and snowboarders. The western side of the Lenzerheide area, in particular, offers beginners diverse and enjoyable skiing. Here, it’s possible to "hop" from lift to lift without having to take a red-marked slope, though switching to red runs is certainly an option for those seeking variety. Around the Tgantieni and Lavoz lifts, you’ll find especially wide and enjoyable pistes. The eastern side offers slightly fewer options for beginners, but there are still suitable runs like the Scharmoin, Crappa Grossa, and Bischofsboden slopes. In Arosa, the Hörnli Traverse is a definite highlight for beginners, stretching from the Hörnli summit (2,511 meters) nearly all the way down to the valley. Overall, the selection of beginner-friendly slopes is well above average, earning the resort an impressive 9 points from the test team.
