Freeriders will find enough backcountry possibilities and deep snow descents here if there is enough snow. The Freeride Center East at Hochkar is one of the ski areas with the most snow in Lower Austria and therefore offers nice off-piste possibilities. At the Leckerplan there are also two ski routes, e.g. the 9a freeride slope.
Also at Hochkar you should of course always keep an eye on the current avalanche situation off-piste. Those who do not yet have much experience in freeriding can book a freeride course at the local ski school.
