One of the snowiest ski resorts in Lower Austria

The Hochkar ski area is located between 1,380 and 1,800 meters, so it is not excessively high. Nevertheless, it is one of the ski resorts in Lower Austria with the most snow. In addition, about 80 percent of the slopes can be artificially snowed, so that the ski season can usually last from the beginning/middle of December until early April.
