The lift facilities at Hochkar are not necessarily among the most modern. But at least almost the entire ski area is accessible with chairlifts (mainly 4-seater chairs). T-bar lifts are the exception and can only be found at the Sonnenlifte at Lackerplan and as a practice lift in the beginners' area. The slope at the Almlift can be illuminated for night skiing.
Ski rental is available at both entry points to the ski area. Two large parking lots are available for parking. The most popular is the upper parking lot right next to the Hochkarbahn valley station. For families who have booked a ski course and want to get in at the Kinderland, the lower parking lot at ticket office 2 is recommended. There is also a bus connection from Göstling up to the Hochkar.
