Child care and kids park in Obertauern

Many of the blue marked slopes in Obertauern are also appropriate for families with smaller children. The really small skiers have their own area for practice called the “Bibo Bär” family ski park at the station of the lift Edelweissbahn. Three separate slopes were specially designed for this park ensuring variety and different levels of difficulty. The eager-to-learn kids and newcomers will learn content, tips and techniques in their own private sector with kindred-spirits and lots of fun! Always there to assist are different animals within the “Bibo Bär” family ski park, which will help kids getting to know their surroundings, learning how to keep balance, getting used to different speeds and embracing diverse skiing techniques. Other family highlights include a drive-through tunnel of horrors (appropriate for kids!) and the enchanted forest at the Schaidberg chairlift.

In addition, there are two separate ski circuits for children and teenagers: The little ones ride through lots of fun areas across the entire ski area on the Bobby Round, such as the ghost train and slalom run. The somewhat older ones can let off steam on the moguls and speed runs of the My Track round. Both circuits (like the Tauern rounds) are well signposted.

Without skis, you get to the mountain huts badly. Ski lessons are decentralized and not so easy to find. A children's country would be beautiful.

In the whole area there are light blue slopes and thus the "Children's countries" are all easy to reach. In most cabins there are extra tables for Skischulgruppen. An Many places there are racetracks and small facilities for children, such as the Ghost Train.
