Unlike many other ski resorts, Silver Star provides plenty of dining options by featuring mountain huts and restaurants. The Lookout Café, which is located at the top of the Summit Chair on Vance Creek, is a nice place to get some rest during a long day on the slopes. Warm yourself up with a fresh-brewed latte and soothe your sweet tooth with fresh-baked treats while enjoying the best view on the mountain!
Paradise Camp on Putnam Creek in between the Home Run Tee and Powder Gulch Express lift is very popular among tourists as it serves great stews and soups, and further provides amazing views of the majestic Monashee Mountains. This very quaint mountain restaurant is best for those who are on their way or coming from Silver Star's Back Side.
Moreover, there are several excellent dining options offered down in the Valley. 1609 Restaurant & Lounge was established in 2014. Hot drinks by the fireside, late night snacks, craft beers, wines and great fare is provided here. Red Antler surprises its guests with great live music making for fun nights with friends and family. Anyone who'd describe themselves being a meat and potatoes man will love the restaurant's traditional fare consisting of house smoked meats and delicious Canadian cuisine. We definitely recommend going for Spare Ribs! (Best ones we've ever eaten!)
Den Bar & Bistro is your first choice when it comes to stopping by for a bite to eat at lunchtime. Great dishes, neat live music, and an impressive selection of both hot and cold beverages meet live music and a relaxed atmosphere. Sit by the fire and devote yourself to some late night talks with your best buddies and soulmates.
